Alexander Nazarov, Haulmont: We have a considerable experiment on replacement of foreign solutions by EDMS THESIS

Alexander Nazarov: In 2017 there was a new release of EDMS THESIS. In the latest version of a system function of comparison and recognition of documents is improved, security is increased, possibilities of administrators, staff of office and other users are expanded. Also a number of changes concerned UI/UX. Proceeds from sales of EDMS THESIS in 2017 increased by 80% and were about 160 million rubles. Turnover from sale of a system to new clients increased twice. Total number of clients exceeded four hundred. Besides, in 2017 EDMS THESIS for the first time was successfully implemented abroad — a system is installed in TAB Bank from the USA. Also preparatory work for an EDMS THESIS output to the world market was done.

Alexander Nazarov: From the beginning of work of the register of domestic software purchase of foreign products by the organizations which should be guided by 44-FZ is limited by law. Their number includes the state and municipal bodies, state and budgetary institutions and other structures. The Haulmont company cooperates with such clients, and after inclusion in the register of the Russian software this work was continued. Administrations of subjects of Russia, the public medical and educational institutions, state corporations and the ministries were among clients of EDMS THESIS.

Alexander Nazarov: Indicator of company competitiveness is not only provision in the Russian market, but also a position on world. In Russia in foreign markets the limited number of vendors has a considerable successful experience. For example, among them Kaspersky Lab and ABBYY company. However many have ambitions, and, in our opinion, perspective Russian products which enter the world market, through the state could start abroad quicker and more successfully.

Alexander Nazarov: In practice of Haulmont company there is a considerable experiment on replacement of foreign solutions by EDMS THESIS. Including in 2017 from large projects such it would be desirable to note transition to EDMS THESIS JSC Rossiysky auktsionny dom which used the solution based on Alfresco before, and 585 Gold of GOLD (the previous solution — OpenText SAP).

Alexander Nazarov: For customers a key role is played by broad functionality of the standard solution EDMS THESIS and also a possibility of development of a system, including, own forces that is promoted by the open code of the solution. The cross-platform of EDMS, i.e. its compatibility with almost any OS and DBMS also is important for customers that it allows not to spend funds for acquisition of additional software. Also the simple interface, ease of mastering and simplicity of updating of a system to new versions belong to advantages of EDMS THESIS. The full-function web version and availability of mobile version allow users to get access to a system at any time and from any device.

Alexander Nazarov: Now there is beta testing of the new mobile client of EDMS THESIS in the company. Also several our customers are ready to hold testing. Sales of new mobile version will begin at the end of the 2nd quarter 2018. A new solution — the full-function mobile client for iOS and Android. He is created using a framework of React Native which gives the chance to accelerate development and to reduce labor costs by synchronization of mobile version with main system.

Alexander Nazarov: In 2018 the release of the new version of EDMS THESIS 4.3 is planned. In it, in particular it is going to improve integration with systems legally significant electronic document management, to implement more advanced integration with Microsoft Outlook and the electronic signature. There will be a lot of functions demanded by clients, besides, we continue work on the system interface.
