"Magnet" implements modern solutions for drivers

On March 21, 2018 the retail network "Magnit" announced start of several projects in the field of logistics for increase in security on roads and employee performance.

The retail network "Magnit" equipped drivers of vehicle fleet with tablets. Devices are the full-fledged tool for the organization of a route, task performance, communication with employees of other divisions. Tablets contain all necessary information for an exit in run.

Using them the driver in several clicks obtains information on a route. Thanks to the system of automatic routing the optimal transit approaches shops. Specialists of the head company count traffic in outlets with indication of time up to minutes. On devices the standard system of navigation (warnings of turns during the movement, notifications on the high-speed mode) is complemented with data on the area which are made on the basis of own cartography of the company: information on existence of narrow roads and dangerous sections, routes with a bad covering, etc. Tablets can work in a standalone mode.

Use of devices allowed to transfer a part of documentation to an electronic form that significantly reduced costs for work with paper carriers.

Far off to monitor health of employees during operation, the company tests automatic system of monitoring of Antison. A system also allows to reduce risk of emergence of unforeseen situations on roads and to discipline drivers. Devices are installed in vehicles of Magnet which deliver goods on distance over 500 km. The equipment consists of the central processor, a video surveillance system, sound signaling and the vibromotor which is installed under the driver's chair.

Besides, for minimization of emergency situations and reduction of time for maneuvering the company mounts rear-view cameras on vehicles.
