2018: Service of rolling of robots

On March 21, 2018 the Chinese developer of mobile applications Cheetah Mobile on an action of 321 Conference in Beijing provided a series of robots with elements of artificial intelligence and announced creation of service within which the companies for rather small amount will be able to rent the electronic assistants capable to execute the administrator's duties in a reception, office security guards and other functions.

As the producer claims, the robot under the name Cheetah GreetBot with the built-in navigation system, a sensing technology of persons and speeches can interact with visitors and accompany them to the right place.^[1]

GreetBot is held for use in the receiving company or medical institutions, but it is also capable to perform functions of office security guard who will register emergence of unfamiliar persons, will switch off electricity after departure of workers and will patrol the premises at night.

According to the China Daily edition, Cheetah Mobile organized service of rolling GreetBot allowing to rent the robot for in 2999 yuans or $475 a month. Is going to offer clients the contract for a period of 1.5 years after which the companies will be able to leave the robot for ever, having paid for it about 54 thousand yuans (about $8600).^[2]

In addition to GreetBot the company showed other developments created in partnership with producer of robotics OrionStar. Among them Cheetah FriendBot is the robot partner for children with support of educational and entertaining functions, Cheetah VendBot is the robotic vending machine, held for sale goods in shopping centers, buildings of educational institutions and other public places.

Besides, the Cheetah Café robot barista with two independent hands manipulators able not only to make coffee was provided, but even to cook omelet, Gizmochina tells.^[3]
