DS 7

In April, 2018 the DS Automobiles company provided DS 7 — the first car created on the basis of the solution Huawei Connected Car. This model became result of cooperation of Huawei and Group PSA which together work on the project on creation of the connected cars from original components announced in November, 2017.

The DS 7 model is a luxury car and a strategic product of the DS series in China. As noted, it differs in "unprecedented comfort and luxury" and also is equipped a large number of intelligent solutions.

Our modular platform of the connected cars (Connected Vehicle Modular Platform, CVMP), known also as DS Connect, will open for users of the whole world access to the innovation products of the line of DS — Laurent Fortoun, the technical director of DS Connect said. — DS 7 simplifies travel, increases security, does service maintenance by more effective, assumes joint use by data and, thereby, brings a maximum of pleasure from a trip.

The number of services which are already available to clients also includes emergency calls, the "smart" parking, monitoring of technical condition of the car, assessment of actions of the driver, entertaining options and also the concierge service. DS will continue to study requests of clients as much as possible to expand for them a range of the connected services.

The DS 7 car is already available to the preorder in China. All Group PSA models in the future will also be produced on the global Huawei platform. Partners intend to service by 2020 on the basis of this platform more than 10 million connected cars in 170 countries.
