On April 9, 2018 it became known that the Tornado Modular Systems company performed supervision of erection of the software and hardware complex (SHC) of an APCS of boiler unit No. 3 on the master distribution power plant of the item Topar of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The automated control system of a boiler unit is implemented based on PTK "Tornado-N" intended for accomplishment of functions of local management of high complexity on objects of any degree of responsibility.

Topar GRES

Initial data for design of PTK of boiler unit No. 3 were obtained by Tornado Modular Systems company at the end of 2017, at the beginning of March, 2018 integration test of ready PTK was carried out. Also since March design of PTK of boiler unit No. 4 starts. Implementation of an APCS of several units is planned: turbine units No. No. 1, 2, boiler units No. No. 3, 4 with the organization of the general control panel (TShchU-1).

For an APCS of units of state district power plant tasks were solved:

  • EGSR of turbines No. No. 1, 2 is executed on uniform software tools with PTK APCS TA No. No. 1, 2 that allowed to provide "seamless" integration of ESChR into PTK;
  • In PTK integration with several adjacent subsystems is implemented, information on the integrated subsystems is used for visualization, signaling and also for participation in protection:
    • with an automated system of control of vibration and mechanical values (ACKBM) "Vibrobit 300";
    • with the automated system of technical electricity metering (ASTEM);
    • with a subsystem of environmental monitoring of the station.

  • The possibility of transfer of necessary information is provided in all-station network of state district power plant.
  • In the PTK project of a boiler unit No. 3 the information task "Accounting of an operating time of surfaces of heating with the increased temperature" is for the first time carried out.

"In spite of the fact that units were carried to different PTK (TA No. 1, KA No. No. 1-2 to PTK No. 1, TA No. 2, KA No. No. 3, 4 to PTK No. 2), on screens of collective use general information on KA No. No. 1-4 and TA No. No. 1-2 respectively is displayed. Also on this object not less important was accomplishment of an ergonomic general control panel. The plan of arrangement of the equipment of PTK for TShchU-1 was developed and especially for this object boards EKP on individual bends and the sizes and also control panels, with a possibility of two-story placement of monitors are executed".
