The Tornado Modular Systems company was created in 1992 in the Campus of the city of Novosibirsk by specialists of laboratory of "Trunk building block systems" of IAIE (Institute of automatic equipment and an electrometry) of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science. Tornado Modular Systems - the Russian developer and the supplier of the automation equipment, management systems, software and hardware complexes (SHC). The modern, developing Russian company relying on high professionalism of employees, scientific potential and wealth of experience (more than 20 years in the Russian market). The company is included into non-profit partnership of the hi-tech companies of the Campus "Sibakademsoft", is a resident of Academpark, acts as the industrial partner of IAIE and some other Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Science research establishments

Tornado Modular Systems are the Russian developer and the supplier of the automation equipment, management systems and software and hardware complexes. Systems are applied in power — combined heat and power plant, state district power plant, as in Russia, and abroad.

The Tornado Modular Systems company implemented more than 150 management systems at the enterprises in 14 regions of the country and also the abroad. The largest objects are the PCS of the Krasnodar combined heat and power plant (410 MW), the PCS of power unit No. 1 of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3 (210 MW), the PCS of power units No. 4 and No. 5 of the Southern Sakhalin combined heat and power plant (115 MW and 93 MW), the PCS of RITES Uglevik (300 MW, the Republika Srpska).

Products of the company compete with the equipment offered in the market by the known companies, such as Siemens, Emerson, ABB and others. More than 50% of the components which are a part of systems implemented by the company are developed and is made by own forces or in cooperation with partners. Tornado Modular Systems Ltd are a resident of Technopark of the Novosibirsk Campus at which origins she stood along with Sibakademsoft association.

History

2017

The company acted as the cofounder of Association NPIA (national platform of industrial automation).

2016: Will receive Tornado Modular Systems from a sales tax of 18 million rubles

The "Development of the Perspective Automation Equipment for Control and Management Systems in Power and Other Industries" project from Tornado Modular Systems company is recognized in September, 2016 by the winner among projects with the maximum cost up to 36 million rubles.

1992-2015

  • 2015-2016 The first series of the industrial computers IPC Gridex (the universal computing platform) is released. This opening of the new horizons.
  • 2014-2017 Ust-Hantaysky hydroelectric power station (The only hydroelectric power station in the world beyond Arctic Circle).
  • 2014-2015 Design and implementation of DCS of hydraulic units of the HEPS Bochats (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
  • 2014 The emergency recovery after the fire of a control panel boilers No. No. 8-12 on the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1 with implementation of a management information system.

  • 2008 Development of PTK "Tornado-N" based on MIRage-N is complete.
  • 2008 Beginning of automation of CUC of Kazakhstan. The system of collecting and information transfer about the doavariyny mode (SSPI PA) covers all trunk PS of Kazakhstan with a class of voltage of 500 kV and above. 15 substations of classes 500 and 1150 of kV for KEGOK company.
  • 2007 One more shock year – 22 projects, among which upgrade of the systems of telemechanics and communication by order of 603 on objects of Novosibirskenergo, the Tomsk GRES-2, the Chita CHPP-2, TETs-2 in Astana, the New Kemerovo combined heat and power plant, the boiler house of Tomskneftekhim LLC, etc.
  • 2006-2008 Development of PTK "Tornado-N" based on MIRage-N

  • 1997 The first PTK of the Company is delivered on the Novosibirsk fatty plant. The leader Dmitry Benediktovich, the general director of NZhK at that time, believed in prospects of new development and at own risk implemented it in the boiler house without certificate of conformity, and, thereby, broke off a vicious circle "There is no certificate – there is no implementation, there is no implementation – there will be no certificate …". By the way, the Company received the first certificate of conformity on PTK after this implementation.
  • 1996-1997 On oil wells of Western Siberia (the settlement of Gubkinsky, the Tarasovsky field) the oil production automated process control system based on progressive energy-saving technologies Gas-lift which cornerstone unique development of staff of the Company is was implemented ".
  • 1996 Entry into the market of the PCS in power.

  • 1994-1997 The first steps of the Company in a field of automation are connected with development of a number of the onboard measuring complexes (OMC) for JSC AvtoVAZ in 1994-1997 (Togliatti, the Samara Region). On the data which reached from "reliable sources", one of BIKOV, purchased by AvtoVAZ to year so in the 96th or 97th (hoz. the agreement "Blow"), in 2000 still safely transferred daily blows about a wall together with the Zhiguli cars which did not bear such blows any more.
  • 1994 Partner of PEP Modular Computers company (Germany).
