Rublyovka TD for data protection uses the solutions Acronis Backup Advanced

On April 11, 2018 the Acronis company announced project completion of implementation of backup systems and disaster recovery of Acronis Backup Advanced for virtual machines, servers, databases and personal computers in TD "Rublyovka". IT solutions were used by specialists for ensuring the round-the-clock data protection in divisions of a large complex of manufacturing enterprises and retail network of shops. The integrated products with the single console of management allowed the company to create a uniform point of protection of all valuable information.

Prerequisites of the Project

TD "Rublyovka" daily services more than half a million clients buying meat delicacies of the company. The arising problems with data recovery after failures and blackout led to idle times of production capacities. Therefore for ensuring smooth operation of industrial complex in the round-the-clock mode the management of holding made the decision to implement the uniform IT solution capable at the high level to protect the IT system of Trading house.

Project Progress

Among some other the solutions IT Department of Trading House received the trial version of the solution Acronis Backup Advanced provided by Aflex company. Within 30 days of testing specialists noted solution several advantages, including – an opportunity to create copies far off or through the agent. As a result implementation of Acronis Backup Advanced was conducted by forces of IT department of Trading House independently. The universal interface and existence of detailed documentation excluded the need for special training of IT personnel in work with the solution. Deployment of a complex of protection took only one day.

For solving of tasks of the customer the following solution modules were used:

• Acronis Backup Advanced for Hyper-V – a backup system for the virtual machines with OS Windows working in MS ecosystem Hyper-V with support virtual of disks and cloud storages;
• Acronis Backup Advanced for Windows Server is a backup system for the physical servers working running Windows OS. The solution allows to provide recovery of work of systems in 15 seconds;
• Acronis Backup Advanced for SQL is a special backup system for SQL databases which provides data protection without decline in production;
• Acronis Backup Advanced for PC is the instrument of data protection on computers of users and workstations within uniform backup strategy for all elements of IT infrastructure.

Project Results

The end-to-end system of backup and disaster recovery helped to provide protection of all main systems of the company on which business processes of the company depend. Allowed to create a set of the solutions Acronis Backup Advanced idle time in use and setup single solution for backup in the mixed IT infrastructure. The integrated system architecture provides the uniform centralized access to backup copies with a possibility of operational recovery of separate files for the Windows Server servers, Hyper-V virtual machines, the SQL server and numerous workstations. If necessary the created ecosystem can be expanded or complemented with new components.

"The possibility of operational recovery of separate files – without need to recover all server if some accounting document is required, for example, – is important for us. Also plus of the solution is that using the normal browser it is possible to look at all saved files. Backup using Acronis is made quickly.
