"East mining company" passes to a cloud platform

On April 12, 2018 the company Softline announced that the management "East mining company" made the decision on migration in cloud to reduce capital costs of the maintenance of local infrastructure and to increase efficiency of IT systems. Therefore complex SAM- the project devoted to readiness for transition to a cloud platform, check of workloads servers SQL and the politician of providing cyber security infrastructure was initiated. The IT partner selected Softline which specialists have necessary competences on project implementation Software Asset Management.

Experts of Softline carried out the overview of program assets in "East mining company" where more than 400 PCs and 50 servers. For ensuring safety of data and control of cyber security specialists advised cloud solutions of Enterprise Mobility + to Security and Advanced Threat Protection. The command of Softline showed to the customer how to optimize the licenses Exchange quicker to migrate from local solution in a cloud, and the politician of message exchange and protection against spam suggested to use Exchange Online Protection for observance. In conclusion in the company SAM Cybersecurity assessment including the analysis of twenty core competencies was carried out. Then the customer received recommendations about optimization available the politician of security of IT infrastructure.

Performance review of the SQL servers showed that about a third of the equipment does not cope with loading.
