2022: Plan to expand production capacity in the amount of more than 110 million rubles

On July 12, 2022, the Siltek group of companies announced that it was continuing systematic investment activities and would allocate more than 110 million rubles to expand production capacities in 2022.

Since the beginning of 2022, part of the planned funds has already been spent. The direction of production of ear tags and body RFID tags has been significantly expanded: a separate workshop with a round-the-clock operation has been created, personnel have been recruited and trained, updated automated equipment has been installed, which together made it possible to increase the volume of products produced to 500 thousand units of products per month.

The investment program provides for the purchase of technological equipment for the production of classic sealing (signal) devices, as well as molds for the low tide and assembly of new experimental products, including with an RFID component. The labeling lines of finished products will be significantly strengthened. These projects are at the stage of implementation.

€0.47 million investment in capacity expansion

On April 26, 2022, the Siltek group of companies announced that in 2021 it invested about 0.47 million euros in expanding production capacities, which is 17% more than originally intended by the project. Own funds and funds of the credit line of one of the leading banks are invested in its implementation .

As planned, the direction of ear tags has significantly intensified. During 2021, new thermoplastics and professional molds were purchased and put into operation, thanks to which the technological process of producing ear tags for animals was accelerated, and the range of models manufactured in parallel was expanded. The volume of their production has grown 3 times.

In another direction - the production of sealing devices for sealing and monitoring the correct handling of metering devices - industrial capacities were expanded due to the updated robotic casting and labeling systems, which made it possible to increase the release of these products by 24%.

In the RFID-tags sector, great progress is being made: at the dedicated site at the plant in Dmitrov, a separate structural unit "Workshop for the production of body radiometers and tags" was created with its own process lines, quality control equipment, and specially trained personnel. The productivity of this area has grown significantly, reaching high levels of revenue.

The implementation of the investment program in 2022 is carried out in the economic conditions prevailing at the beginning of 2022, taking into account the attraction of preferential programs for small and medium-sized businesses aimed at import substitution.
