Flexible Computing Advanced

Flexible Computing Advanced is a computing platform for creation of virtual data center (VDC). It allows to unroll in cloud virtual machines and applications through internet, L2VPN or the protected network IP VPN from Orange.

The Flexible Computing Advanced platform reduces total cost of ownership thanks to consolidation of cloud infrastructures of clients within the global protected virtual private "cloud". The companies can scale or reduce IT resources depending on needs of business and pay only for actually consumed resources, told in Orange Business Services.

Using Flexible Computing Advanced clients of Orange will be able to unroll a virtual data processing center with a scaling option of resources (computing powers, RAM, storage systems, mechanisms of reservation, network transmission capacity). Customers will have an opportunity to manage virtual DPC independently through a self-service portal or using Orange Business Services. Besides, if necessary clients can add physical servers. Orange offers clients the agreement on the service quality level (Service Level Agreements, SLA) and services of management of all infrastructure.^[1]

  • An opportunity to use virtual data center for development, testing, preproduction and to implementation of new corporate applications.

• Copying and georeservation
  • Data remain on hard drives or a tape. Every day the tape is taken out to storage, remote from data center, at the expense of what georeservation is provided.

• Availability guarantee
  • Orange guarantees service quality in the agreement (SLA). Servers are located in Tier 3 data center of Ixcellerate with an availability indicator — 99.9%.

• Compliance to the legislation
  • Existence of certification on FZ-152.
