On April 25, 2018, InfoVotch-Ural, a representative office of the InfoWatch group of companies in the Ural Federal District, announced the introduction of a set of solutions to prevent information leaks and protect organizations from internal threats to information security (IS), as well as monitor the working activity of employees in the infrastructure of Multifunctional Centers of the Tyumen Region (GAU TO MFC). The InfoWatch specialists carried out the deployment of the complex in the customer's infrastructure and trained the employees of the MFC information security service to work with solutions, including the DLP system (Data Leakage Prevention) InfoWatch Traffic Monitor and the InfoWatch Person Monitor workflow monitoring system.
To implement the tasks of GAU TO MFC to increase the level of IB multifunctional centers, in 2017 a joint pilot project was implemented to introduce IB solutions of InfoWatch, including a system for protecting information from leaks, into the structures of the MFC Tyumen Region.
According to the results of pre-design tests in 2018, InfoWatch specialists completed an audit of information security of processes and information flows in the MFC of the Tyumen region, developed recommendations on protection objects and the implementation of relevant security policies, taking into account which the DLP system of the system was put into industrial operation.
"GAU TO MFC had the task not only to ensure the protection of the personal data of residents of the Tyumen region who apply for services to the departments of multifunctional centers, and control the processing of confidential documents, but also to comply with all the requirements of Russian law in this matter. For these purposes, we chose the DLP solution InfoWatch. DLP is an objective means of monitoring the process of processing confidential documents and detecting really significant incidents. Due to the flexibility and scalability of the system, we have a field to further optimize the algorithms of the system and improve the process. " ' Dmitry Salnikov, Deputy Director of GAU TO MFC ' |
The infrastructure of GAU TO MFC includes 30 centers for the provision of public services "My Documents" and more than 400 windows for the reception of applicants in cities of the region, in the geographically distributed structural divisions of the MFC and on the basis of Russian Post branches. Daily, the institutions of the MFC of the Tyumen region process several thousand documents of individuals and legal entities that contain personal and payment information of residents of the region.
According to representatives of GAU TO MFC, the introduction of the Traffic Monitor InfoWatch will significantly minimize the risks of leaking personal and other confidential data, and, accordingly, possible financial and reputational damage to the organization. In addition, additional application options, such as time control and employee loyalty assessment, help maintain and develop the institution's human resources capacity.
