The Corus Consulting started KORUS Forecast service for Korablik network

On May 8, 2018 the Corus Consulting company announced pilot start of KORUS Forecast service for retail network selling children's goods the Ship.

The solution KORUS|Forecast is intended for large and average retail networks and is used for automatic forecast calculation of demand on regular sales and promotion actions at the level of each goods and shop, for every day, on the basis of modern mathematical algorithms and methods of machine learning.

The solution is deployed on a cloud platform of Microsoft Azure using technologies of parallel computings of the Hadoop family, the Microsoft R Server components, mathematical libraries R.

"We began the project on use of KORUS Forecast on category "Dairy products". After connection to service of pilot group of shops the absolute margin increased by 4%, revenue grew by 3%, and the level of write-off of perishable goods decreased by 8%. At the same time we minimized intervention of the person in forecast calculations of demand both on regular sales, and on promotion actions. We are also going to connect to the project and other, more problem categories, in particular, Diapers where we expect to receive a bigger business effect".
