The NPO Vysokotochnye kompleksy holding entering into Rostec provided in May, 2018 a line of the multi-purpose high-precision turning, turning and milling and milling processing centers with the domestic system of the numerical control (NC) Olympus. Developments of Rostec will allow to provide cyber security and technology independence of the crucial Russian processing productions.
The domestic equipment is designed to replace the machines of foreign production containing program and hardware "tabs" which allow to block remotely their work and also to transfer to foreign suppliers all nomenclature and production volumes on each single industrial hub. The Russian machines of new generation guarantee the high level of information protection and lack of the hidden opportunities for unauthorized access to systems from abroad.
"Import substitution in this sphere allows to get rid of the technology dependence, expensive services and risks connected with sanctions restrictions. But, first of all, it is about information protection and smooth operation of crucial industries where it is necessary to ensure reliable functioning of the equipment and to exclude remote intervention in the corresponding IT systems. These problems are solved by the Russian system of numerical control Olympus", - the industrial director of a cluster of arms of State Corporation Rostec Sergey Abramov comments.
At the moment leaders in production of the CNC systems delivered in Russia are the companies Siemens Mitsubishi Electric, HAAS, Rexroth Bosch Group, Fagor Automation FANUC, Fidia and others.
