KSB-SOFT updated information security systems of MF of the Sakhalin region

On May 21, 2018 KSB-SOFT announced carrying out updating of information security systems regarding a subsystem of firewalling of the Ministry of Finance of the Sakhalin region.

Specialists of "KSB-SOFT" carried out upgrade and recertification of information security tools according to security requirements with prolongation of services in technical maintenance of the information security tools (IST) and also works on installation of firewalls for security of network as protection against external cybersecurity threats are carried out.

For the purpose of counteraction to relevant threats information security software of a failover cluster it was updated to the current version. Security gateways ViPNet Coordinator HW4 developed by the partner company "Infotecs", conform to requirements FSTEC Russia to firewalls of type "A" of the 4th class of protection and also requirements of FSB of Russia to means of the cryptographic information protection which is not containing the data which are the state secret of class KC3. Thanks to the taken measures the staff of the Ministry can be sure of reliability of functioning of a system. At the same time the management had an opportunity to optimize costs for providing Information Security in the organization and to minimize the legal and reputational risks connected with observance of requirements of the legislation.
