Mosgortransniiproyekt for work on projects uses BIM technologies

On May 22, 2018 the CROC company added function to the system of information modeling of Bentley Systems which is used by the Moscow transport institute SUE Mosgortransniiproyekt for work on the projects of the organization of traffic (POT).

Thanks to completions of CROC at the disposal of engineers Mosgortransniiproyekt the design object library (including road signs and a marking) for joint work over projects appeared. At the same time their display on the drawing of PODD happens according to GOST. After end of PODD on each of them the detailed sheet of all required materials, for accomplishment of installation and construction works automatically forms. Earlier it was made manually that required on average about 5 hours.

70 employees from 3 departments of institute work on projects of the organization of traffic SUE Mosgortransniiproyekt. Each project goes through several stages of lifecycle – design, approval (both in the organization, and out of) and the direction to the customer of the final version of the project with the sheet of the forthcoming installation and construction works and materials. For acceleration of project deadlines and simultaneous operation of engineers the institute implemented the BIM platform of Bentley Systems company. Later, in 2016, the solution was also integrated in a common information space with a management system for engineering data of one of customers of institute (TsODD). However any system requires over time development as in use users have new requirements.

According to the results of the project it was succeeded to configure most effectively a unified environment of work on projects according to requirements of design institute".
