Gazprom Neft and the Central research and developmental institute of robotics and engineering cybernetics (Central Research Institute RTK) announced on May 24, 2018 conclusion of an agreement about cooperation in the development area of means of robotization and the systems of pilotless management.
Signatures under the document were delivered by the deputy CEO for logistics, processing and sale of Gazprom Neft Anatoly Cherner and the director-chief designer of GNTs Russian Federation Central Research Institute RTC Alexander Lopota.
As noted, the agreement provides carrying out complex scientific research, developmental and technology works on design of robotic manipulators which Gazprom Neft is going to use on the industrial and sales assets.
Among the main projects which are supposed to be implemented within cooperation – the solution for robotic packing of bituminous materials in a warehouse, shipment of oil products to bitumovoza, airfield fuel-servicing trucks and railway tanks, refueling airplanes "in a wing".
It is expected that the technologies put in a basis of robotic manipulators will ensure high efficiency and safety of processes and will be integrated into a single digital platform of the company. The Center of digital innovations of Gazprom Neft will act as the operator of the agreement.
