The LPWAN technology developed by GoodWAN company provides transfer of short, rare, significant messages from the economic independent sensors located at long distances from each other. It is created for tasks in which LTE-M and the existing LPWAN of network are inefficient.
Concentration on specific optimal mass cases, but not on universality - as LoRaWAN or specialization on housing and public utilities (the Martin, Vaviot).

Features of GoodWAN technologies
- The main feature and main advantage of GoodWAN is with big capacity and high noise immunity forward channel (as at SigFox) and, at the same time, symmetric on the range simple in implementations and a cheap reverse channel (as at LoRa).
- For transfer in forward channel UNB of a signal with frequency, but not phase shift keying as it is implemented at SigFox that considerably improves transmission quality of information from moving objects is used.
- Digital processing of a signal in the Base station is implemented on the specialized signal processor that made cost value of BS below competitors, without deterioration in its characteristics, increased resistance to "hangups" of a system and lowered its energy consumption.

Application
- Retail: The field of application of IoT in retail is very wide: it is tracking of the product range, interactive interaction with buyers, marketing, analytics of purchases, mobile payments, management of a trade remaining balance and assets
- Housing and public utilities: It is used for collection of information about indications of different counters of housing and public utilities (a hot and cold water, electricity, heat, gas) with a pulse exit for accounting systems and billing of energy resources. The device counts quantity of the impulses received from the counter with a pulse exit and transfers these data to the base station with the set frequency.
- Temperature sensors and humidity. It is used in problems of monitoring of temperature on industrial facilities, in DPCs, offices, shopping centers, child care, medical, sports and other facilities. It can be used on transport and in agriculture. Depending on a specific objective the period of data transmission is programmed and two levels of a temperature corridor for which at an exit there is a transition to the accelerated data transmission are established.
- Garbage sensor. It is intended for measurement and transfer to users of information on the level of filling of garbage containers. The ultrasonic sensor installed on a container periodically measures the level of its filling and sends value through BS to the server for the processing / storage / statistics / analysis and reaction.
- Sensor of opening of doors. It is intended for fixing, collecting and delivery to users of information on the facts of opening of different doors. Possible applications: office doors, doors of cabinets, boxes of tables, technical hatches, lockers, boards, etc.
- Sensor of operation of the equipment. It is intended for control of electricity consumption of the different equipment. Fastens on top on a network wire, does not require electric contact and intervention in construction and network wires of the controlled equipment.
- Vibration sensor. It is used in problems of condition monitoring of bridges, buildings and other engineering objects. Registers amplitudes and frequencies of vibrations of an object. Depending on a task - according to the set frequency, the device transfers value of the maximum amplitude of vibration and the frequency corresponding to this amplitude to BS.
- The sensor of level of loose products / liquids (fuel and lubricants in "barrels"). It is intended for measurement and transfer to users of information on the level of loose products or filling of fuel and lubricants storages, liquids. The ultrasonic sensor, can be installed in a standard 2nd inch stopper on the 200th liter barrel or storage, bigger by the size. Also can be established over loose products. The sensor periodically measures the level of a liquid/product and sends value through BS to the server for the processing / storage / statistics / analysis and reaction.
- Management of parking space. The solution provides access control of vehicles in a zone of the organization of the parking observance of rules of a stop and the parking, monitoring of employment of parking spaces, informing on existence of free parking slots on a street road network.
- Solutions for monitoring of a car and not only. The solution provides a communication channel with a search tab in the car (anti-stealing). The device of the small size can be used on cars, bicycles, scooters. Can serve for protection of people, animal. The built-in akselerometer defining the movement of an object and the developed algorithms on which depending on the movement disturbing messages are transferred has the sensor. The sensor periodically (time 8 min.-2 hours) sends the message on the server. It can be activated on an event or remotely from the server. Time for activation is about 30-60 seconds. GPSGLONASS Transfer/coordinates. Service life from the battery – more than 1 year. It can be taken the bearings by a special mobile direction finder of GoodWAN.
- Sensor of physical activity and temperature. The principle of permanent monitoring of movements of an animal using the accelerometer and temperature measurement is the cornerstone of the sensor. During sexual hunting the cow shows hyperactivity. The accelerometer obtains data on the movement, processes them and signals about the moment of approach of hunting at an animal. At confirmation statistical analysis of data on the server sends the message to employees of a farm.
- Road monitoring of a meteosituation. The solution provides monitoring of the actual weather conditions on a street road network for the purpose of minimization and prevention of emergency.
- Natural and environmental monitoring. The solution allows to create the city IoT-network with connection of devices of monitoring of the environment and the sensors integrated into Gidrometa network and providing monitoring of local weather conditions, air pollutions, emission of dangerous chemicals, radiation.
