History

2022: Cooperation with Yaroslavl Radio Plant in the field of engineering personnel training

Training of engineering personnel, retraining of specialists for the system of additional professional education, as well as interaction on specific tasks of development and research work - these are the main areas of cooperation between the Yaroslavl Radio Plant and the Yaroslavl State Technical University (FSBEI HE YAGTU). The corresponding agreement was signed by the general director of the YARZ Sergey Yakushev and the rector of YAGTU Elena Stepanova. This was announced on December 2, 2022 by the Russian Space Systems (RKS).

The Yaroslavl Radio Plant for December 2022 cooperates with five technical universities in Russia. YAGTU accounts for 15% of factory students of targeted training. In addition, up to 100 employees of the company study here annually under additional vocational education programs.

For Polytechnic, the key aspect of high-quality training of specialists is integration into practice, and this is why we cooperate with large industrial partners. YAGTU has been preparing engineering personnel for the Yaroslavl Radio Plant for many years, but, mainly, these were mechanical engineers. The university implements flexible programs for targeted training of students in several relevant areas, including "radio engineering" and "information technology,
said Rector of FSBEI HE "Yaroslavl State Technical University" Elena Stepanova.

The signed agreement will allow the parties, taking into account the positive experience of cooperation of past years, to organize systematic interaction in the training and advanced training of personnel for Russian space instrumentation. Starting from 2023, it is planned to increase the number of students on the applications of the NRZ.

We are ready to use the laboratory and personnel potential of YAGTU not only for educational purposes. There are plans to delegate small but responsible tasks to university specialists that require high qualifications. To begin with, for example, analysis and testing of the properties of polymer materials or laboratory assessment of the quality of solder pastes. In the future, it is planned to participate employees of specialized departments in R&D,
noted the general director of Yaroslavl Radio Plant JSC Sergey Yakushev.
