In December 2023, the NRZ received permission for the construction logistic center, construction and installation work is scheduled for 2024. Construction of Logistics Center

The logistics center is being built at the site of Yaroslavl Radio Plant JSC (YARZ, part of the Russian Space Systems holding of the Roscosmos State Corporation). This complex will make it possible to optimize the transport flows of components within the enterprise, which is necessary for the organization of conveyor production of satellite equipment on the basis of the plant. In accordance with the Program for Strategic Transformation of Enterprises, space instrument making approved by the Supervisory Board of Roscosmos, the Yaroslavl Radio Plant is the basic serial site of domestic space instrumentation. Construction the logistics center is one of the priority tasks of the large-scale modernization of production carried out by the plant.

The annual volume of warehouse operations at the Yaroslavl Radio Plant is about 600 thousand units, including loading and unloading operations, incoming control, organization of address storage and much more. The logistics center under construction will help ensure uninterrupted supply of the main production, taking into account the increasing production of products, improve its quality, reduce the costs of the company and the entire instrument-making holding of Roscosmos, said YARZ General Director Alexander Sashov.

After commissioning of the facility, the NRP will create a reserve of storage space. Plan for creation of a site for serial production of satellite equipment

We have huge plans for the development of the Yaroslavl Radio Plant. It should become for us the basic production of a wide range of space equipment. Various projects for its development and equipment are already envisaged, said the general director of the State Corporation "Roscosmos" Iouri Borisov.

The development of technologies at the Yaroslavl Radio Plant is accompanied by a phased modernization of production, financed primarily by the Federal Space Program - the company is already purchasing equipment. At the same time, the introduction of a digital production management system is being completed at the NRS. Cooperation with YSTU in the field of engineering personnel training

Training of engineering personnel, retraining of specialists for the system of additional professional education, as well as interaction on specific tasks of development and research work - these are the main areas of cooperation between the Yaroslavl Radio Plant and the Yaroslavl State Technical University (FSBEI HE YAGTU). The thematic heads of the RCC spoke about the principles of forming an integrated structure management system in the areas. In particular, it was about the creation of general holding systems for strategic planning and development, design and serial production of onboard and ground equipment, quality and reliability assurance, management of financial and economic activities and personnel, as well as the creation of a single digital infrastructure.

Taking into account the challenges facing the RCC, we need non-standard solutions, as well as mobilization, revision, thoughtful and rational use of all resources. We are designing the future of instrument making. It is necessary to revise and unify the matrix of competencies of the holding units as soon as possible, taking into account the capabilities of the Yaroslavl Radio Plant, which will become the main serial site of the RKS holding for the production of a large range of space products, said RKS CEO Andrey Tyulin.

As the primary production task, the transition from the manufacture of separate on-board equipment to the serial production of full-fledged space systems and turnkey complexes was determined. The members of the Council emphasized the need for impeccable fulfillment of all obligations of the holding under concluded contracts.

The important role of corporate personnel policy was also emphasized - to strengthen and mobilize personnel potential, it is planned to pay special attention to youth and social programs, as well as to attract highly qualified specialists in the development and operation of software who are ready and able to work in the production sector.

In communication with colleagues in the holding, the word "integration" was most often heard. Roscosmos purchase of a controlling stake in Yaroslavl Radio Plant from Sistema

The further development of PJSC Yaroslavl Radio Plant is expected within the framework of the Program for Strategic Transformations of Space Instrumentation Enterprises, approved by the Supervisory Board of the State Corporation Roscosmos in February 2021. This program determines the technological and production appearance of one of the most important components of the rocket and space industry in Russia and involves the expansion of the integrated structure of space instrument-making enterprises, which will include 17 companies, research institutes, design bureaus and assembly industries. The acquisition of YARZ is the first such transaction since the creation of the State Corporation Roscosmos.

The entry of the Yaroslavl Radio Plant into the RKS holding involves the optimization of business processes for the transfer of new design and technological solutions for developers from experienced to mass production to form a full cycle of development and manufacture of rocket and space technology products. It is expected that the participation of the NRZ will ensure the further movement of the Russian rocket and space industry towards complete import independence in the supply of space products and instrument making.

The development strategy of the RKS holding provides for the further expansion of the development of high-tech promising targeted and service onboard equipment for commercial space systems and global projects, including multi-satellite groups. According to representatives of the RKS, the presence of a production site within the holding with the possibility of large-scale production of unified products will strengthen its position in the market for equipment for manning multi-satellite groups consisting of several hundred and thousands of spacecraft planned to be created both within the framework of state programs and with the involvement of private capital.

Since 2018, the RKS and YARZ holding have been jointly improving close production cooperation on the creation of various on-board equipment. The production system of the Yaroslavl Radio Plant, debugged for the specifics of the space industry, allows you to timely and efficiently fulfill key orders. As part of the in-depth integration, the radio plant is also expected to participate in the production of products for non-space industries, including the aviation industry, shipbuilding, fuel and energy complex, agriculture and other related markets.
