Tulin Andrei Evgenievich

Biography

Andrei Tyulin from 1978 to 2009 served in the Armed Forces of the USSR and the Russian Federation. He retired with the rank of lieutenant general from the post of head of the Main Directorate of Weapons of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

From 2009 to 2012, he served as general director of the Aviapriborostroenie concern, then worked as director for strategic projects of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant. In January 2013, he was appointed deputy general director of the Radioelectronic Technologies concern.

2014: CEO of RCS

Andrei Tyulin, who previously served as deputy general director for strategic planning and ensuring the implementation of the state defense order of Concern Radioelectronic Technologies, was appointed general director of Russian Space Systems OJSC at the end of summer 2014.

The main task of the head of the RKS Andrei Tyulin is to solve the problem of import substitution, to develop unified approaches to the electronic component base in the space industry. He also has to continue solving problems related to the execution of contracts, with the debt burden of the enterprise, and continue the development of the GLONASS system.

2021: Member of the Board of Directors of RKS

In 2021, RKS CEO Andrei Tyulin joined the Board of Directors of Russian Space Systems JSC.

2022: Resignation from the post of head of the RCS

In October 2022, he left the post of head of the RKS.
