MGTS will update digital infrastructure of Reutov

On June 13, 2018 PJSC Moscow City Telephone Network, within social and economic partnership with the city of Reutov situated near Moscow, announced the beginning of mass construction of a high-speed data network on GPON technology. Based on this network the complex of modern telecommunication services will be implemented and the city system of access video surveillance is created.

We hope that experience of Reutov will serve as start for development of IT infrastructure of other regional cities and base for implementation of "smart" services at the level of all Moscow area". Within the agreement on cooperation between MGTS and city administration the company within a year will connect Reutov to a high-speed data network of 61,500 apartments. Besides, all entrances of Reutov will be connected to the system of city video surveillance. Information from cameras round the clock, in real time, will come to a city Uniform data processing center.
