"Magnet" completed testing of 3D technology - modeling of the equipment

On June 18, 2018 the retail network "Magnit" announced completion of testing of 3D technology - modeling of the equipment. It provides creation of the three-dimensional image of the developed prototypes, beginning from appearance of constructions and material of which they are made, and finishing with parts: arrangement of a light source, existence of flares and reflections, compliance of elements of design to a design of shop and many others. Such approach allows to visualize in details interior decor of outlet and to reduce costs on development of models of constructions.

Using specialized engineering programs for creation and processing of models experts of the company can "place" and "move" models in a trading floor, select optimal variants of equipment according to standards of the company and the analysis of consumer preferences.

Before specialists used classical graphics editors which built the two-dimensional image.

This technology allows to reduce time, finance and labor costs. Main advantage in front of traditional tools is that within several hours in the online mode employees can visualize models of a retail store equipment. Besides, there is no need for the order and payment of a large number of test samples which not always answered requests. Thanks to detailed modeling final samples of the equipment are already made according to desirable requirements with study of all necessary components.

According to the estimates of experts of the company already due to use of modern technology the retail network can annually reduce number of test samples by implementation stages and save means.
