2021: Finalize Scaling of Equipment Maintenance and Repair Management Information System

The Maintenance and Repair Management Information System (ISU TOiR) has been operating in SAF-NEVA LLC since June 2018, when it was commissioned at the plant in Voronezh. At the same time, a converter created for the exchange of data between the M & ID and the purchasing and warehouse management module from the SAP ERP-based corporate system began to work. The database of ISU M & R at that time contained data on 3 thousand units of technological equipment.

In March 2020, the stage of development of ISU TOiR began. Its content was the scaling of the system and the expansion of its functions. In particular, the system covered two more plants located in the cities of Uzlovaya and Kurgan. Accordingly, the amount of equipment recorded in the system database increased to 7 thousand units, and the number of system users at stationary workplaces - to 24.

In addition, 19 mobile users appeared due to the fact that the system was supplemented by the TRIM-Mobile module. Using the tablet (smartphone) on which this module is installed, repair workers can enter data into the TOI and receive data from it.

In particular, they can receive work tasks for performing scheduled work, record their performance, indicate the composition of the team and labor costs for performing work, values ​ ​ of controlled parameters, actually used spare parts and materials, attach a photo of the work result and add comments. Using a mobile device, you can also register a defect and classify it using directories, search for spare parts and materials in the warehouse with the determination of their location, find the repair object in the database and display its passport data, work history, registered defects.

As part of the development phase, the system has been converted to TRIM 3.9.3 and a full-featured TRIM-Technical Management solution for managing the organization's physical assets (EAM, Enterprise Asset Management). The converter for TRIM interaction with the SAPERP system has been refined . Thanks to this, data on the cost of used materials and spare parts began to be received in ISU TOi R. This allowed you to set up an analysis of equipment maintenance costs, and analyze the costs by specific unit of equipment.

The analytics subsystem on the Web-platform has been refined, through which management has the opportunity to analyze the calculated indicators of equipment reliability and efficiency of M & R processes, to carry out a plan-factual analysis in various sections.

2018

On June 19, 2018, SPtsTek NPP announced the completion of work on the implementation of the information system for managing the maintenance and repair of equipment of the Saf-Neva branch in Voronezh. The system is based on the TRIM software complex.

Project purpose

The company needs to reduce unplanned outages, maintain high equipment availability, improve key performance indicators, such as overall equipment efficiency (OEE), ensure maintenance and repair efficiency (TOI) as a process that ensures production. The solution of these tasks is the implementation of the M & R Management Information System (M & R ISS) at the plant.

Project course

Work on the implementation of this system in the Voronezh branch of Saf-Neva LLC was carried out by the SPtsTek NPP company.

Work on the project began in March 2017 with a survey of technical operation processes at the plant. Based on the results of the survey, project documentation was developed that determined the requirements for ISS M & R. software The EAMMRO TRIM system has been defined as an ISS TOI.

During the implementation, the entire scope of work stipulated by the specification and specifications for the project has been completed. System user instructions have been developed and trained. An integration solution has been developed that enables the exchange of data between the M & M ISS and the SAP PM module from the customer's corporate management system. Using this solution, specialists of SPTK NPP converted the data on spare parts from SAP PM into the maintenance and maintenance system. The created ISS TOI database contains accounting data for more than 50 thousand spare parts and about 3 thousand pieces of technological equipment. The customer is licensed to use TRIM software for 10 users.

Project results

In June 2018, the TOI management information system of the Voronezh branch of Saf-Neva LLC was commissioned. It provides repair personnel with the ability to record failures and defects, classify their types and causes, plan work to eliminate them, enter reports on the performance of these works, including actual information about labor costs, replacement of spare parts, cost and duration of work, etc. The solution also covers planned maintenance activities, including the creation of work schedules and plans for the purchase of spare parts and materials for maintenance and maintenance, automates work with repair and maintenance documents, etc.

Management has the possibility to obtain from the system calculated indicators of equipment reliability, efficiency of M & R processes, data for plan-factual analysis in different sections.
