Within the concept of "smart data storage" the company "Croc" began to offer the cloud customers the "universal" level data storage which succeeded "standard" level based on DWH the previous generation. For service start cloud infrastructure Croc in Russia was upgraded using the software-defined solution (SDS Software-defined storage) Dell EMC ScaleIO.
Earlier in a cloud Croc two types of the carrier for data storage were used. For work of the high-loaded databases and business applications, critical to performance, All-flash, and was applied to systems, less exacting to performance — traditional DWH with SATA disks.
