Quorum. Adapter Biometrics

The Biometrics adapter — the connected module of the software package "SIEI Integrator" — allows to organize electronic interaction with web service of the Single Biometric System (SBS) for registration of biometric samples of the individual and also for identification and user registration in the Unified identification and authentication system (Unified identification and authentication system).

Interaction with web services is performed through SIEI 2.0 and SIEI 3.0 in the synchronous and asynchronous modes.

The Biometrics adapter implements transport functions between IT systems of bank and the Pension fund and also storage functions of history of requests and answers, journalizing of events of a system.

2018: Release of the adapter

The Kvorum company announced on July 3, 2018 product output for work of bank with the Single Biometric System (SBS) and the Unified identification and authentication system (Unified identification and authentication system). So, the Biometrics adapter is intended for collecting, check and registration in EBS of the set types of biometric samples and also for work with accounts of users of a Unified identification and authentication system.

According to developers, the Biometrics adapter is developed taking into account all technical and regulatory requirements connected with collecting, storage and use of biometric personal data in banking sector including Federal law No. 152-FZ in edition of 12/31/2017. So, a system does not allow to perform collecting of biometrics to printing and signing of consent to personal data processing of the client, technically excludes a possibility of storage of biometric samples on the local structure of operator and also performs their enciphering before preserving.

For collecting of biometric samples (implementation of photographing and an audio recording) acquisition and installation of the specialized proprietary software of third-party vendors is not required. At implementation of the adapter only existence of the webcam and microphone is required.

"Biometrics" supports work including in browser Internet Explorer which use de facto is the corporate standard in many credit institutions, including some clients of Kvorum company.

Since July 1, 2018 the stage of collecting of biometric samples and their transfer to a Single Biometric System is necessary to the banks working with a Unified identification and authentication system. Moreover, according to the draft of the regulation of the Bank of Russia already until the end of 2018 each bank should provide acceptance of biometric samples not less than in one structural division of bank in each region of presence, and till 12/31/2019 — in all structural divisions of bank.
