ID-Russia participates in the project of automation of the Heineken plants in Russia

On July 9, 2018 the ID-Russia company reported that it takes part in business process automation for the plants of Heineken Concern in Russia.

The software product, special labels developed by ID-Russia and the equipment of Honeywell already work at the plants "Heineken Brewery" in St. Petersburg, Patra in Yekaterinburg.

Within the project several tasks were solved:

• development of the software product for the purpose of expansion of functionality of already working management systems: automation of printing of barcodes of a certain type according to requirements of the Unified State Automated Information System.
• selection and supply of equipment for the project.

Implementation

On the first stage before ID-Russia there was an applied problem of automation of specific business process: print a stroke codes of a certain type for product sales at retailers according to requirements of the Unified State Automated Information System.

Specialists of the Heineken Brewery plant were satisfied by the offered logic of the solution, style of work of a project team ID-Russia received as a result the ID-Print software product.

In 2016 the global management Heineken made the decision on SAP implementation of EWM instead of the separate accounting systems in warehouses of the enterprises of concern around the world. The plant in St. Petersburg is elected the platform for carrying out a pilot project.

The ID-Russia company became one of developers of this project. Except printing of labels with the set parameters the task of expansion of functionality of EWM SAP (warehouse management system) and SAP ERP for ensuring communication of the equipment (data collection terminals, scanners, printers) with the managing systems was set.

As a result of work the ID-Print system of the second generation appeared. Now the program actually executes a gateway role between production and a warehouse in some questions.

ID-Print solves the following problems:

• printing of labels of the necessary size at different technology stages taking into account all required parameters on the basis of the data obtained from SAP EWM. Recovery and printing of labels manually on the instructions of the user;
• ensuring communication of production and warehouse;
• control over production from production;
• integration with ERP regarding data on the production order, sending these data to EWM;
• ensuring integration of management systems and production equipment: the applicator/scanner of the pallet label to lines of a flood, the printer/applicator of the packaging label on a filling line, the distributor on transpallet sleeves on a finished goods warehouse.

Selection, delivery, installation and setup of the equipment with signing of the contract on the subsequent service and delivery of supplies (cartridge ribbons for printers, labels for marking) became a part of the project.

ID-Russia offered the equipment of Honeywell checked on many projects: the mounted Thor VM3 terminals, manual industrial Intermec CK71 terminals, the Granit 1280 scanners, Toshiba SA4 printers.
