On June 25, 2020 the Xerox company announced start of the compact flat bed scanner with the Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner automatic feeder. The model allows to accelerate digitization of documents and to automate workflows.

According to the company, Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner combines in itself possibilities of the flat bed scanner and the scanner with the automatic feeder. It works with the speed up to 25 pages (50 images) a minute that allows to digitize quickly documents, without purchasing expensive and bulky device. Thanks to the maximum load of 1500 pages in day Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner will be suitable for small offices, trade, banking, government, financial, medical and other organizations.

The scanner will cope with a wide range of office tasks: it supports both paper carriers, and business cards, plastic cards, passports, photos, books and magazines. It is possible to load sheets of a format from 76x150 mm to 216x2997 mm with a density from 60 to 105 g/m2 into the automatic feeder of the device.

Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner can automatically load results of digitization into the cloud storage, print on the network printer, transfer to office applications or send by e-mail to the addressees saved in settings.

Thanks to Visioneer OneTouch technology it is possible to preset up to nine scenarios of work and to start them one contact from the Xerox Duplex Combo Scanner control panel, selecting optimal parameters of permission, chromaticity, a format of files, automatic framing and alignment. At the same time all process steps from scanning before sending or preserving of the ready file are configured.

The intellectual technology of optimization of the image Visioneer Acuity integrated into the scanner increases quality of documents and allows to save them in the PDF format with a search capability. In turn, the solution ABBYY FineReader Sprint precisely recognizes the text in 179 languages, saving its formatting.
