NESK creates the system of cryptographic information protection

On July 19, 2018 Infotecs cryptographic data protection Independent power supply company of Krasnodar Krai Company " announced creation of a system for the joint-stock company " (JSC NESK)

Project Tasks

Considering the essential volume of the processed personal data inhabitants of the region, the Customer was faced by a problem of fulfillment of requirements of the relevant Federal laws, Government decrees RUSSIAN FEDERATION, orders FSTEC Russia and also the order FSB of Russia of 7/10/2014 N 378 "About the approval of Structure and the maintenance of organizational and technical measures for security of personal data at their processing in personal data information systems using means cryptographic data protection, the necessary for accomplishment security requirements of personal data set by the Government of the Russian Federation for each of security levels".

Also it was necessary to provide protection of data transmission channels, including, the commercial information between separate branches of the Customer.

Project Progress

For the data protection transferred on open communication links the decision to implement subsystems of cryptographic protection was made. Considering requirements of the above-mentioned Order FSB Russia, it was necessary to use the solutions having the corresponding certification. After the carried-out market research of producers of cryptographic means the decision to implement in the existing infrastructure of "NESK" was made subsystem of cryptographic information protection of Infotecs company. Implementation and delivery of the solution were performed by Group "Sevkavinformcentre".

Project Results

"NESK" received the following benefits from implementation of a subsystem of cryptographic protection of Infotecs:

• fulfillment of requirements of regulators regarding the data protection processed in information systems of the customer (it is about more, than about 600 separate automated workplaces and servers);
• the necessary and sufficient protection of the internal commercial information which is not connected with personal data processing.

Besides, sufficient capacity of the set coordinators allowed to resolve an issue of enciphering of the voice traffic between separate branches of NESK company.
