On July 30, 2018 the HTS company announced that the DigitalLab company completed the construction of data center in Moscow.
"Need of construction of data center was caused first of all by business growth. We in parallel started the broadcasting center so our requirements increased, and opportunities of the old platform were almost exhausted. Therefore the decision on construction of DPC more than on 20 racks was made". |
Based on the tender the system integrator of the engineering systems DataDome which was ready to satisfy conditions on implementation terms became the contractor of the project – the project needed to be started in 4 months. As a conditioning system solutions of Stulz were selected. Their delivery was performed by HTS company. According to the power of DPC of the customer as the cooling system the solution on cupboard freon CyberAir 3 Stulz conditioners was selected.
The project started in December, 2017. Construction of data center was performed in the industrial building which was suitable for needs of the customer. The DPC was based on the principle of a sarcophagus – the building in the building. Therefore for data center the roof indoors, own walls was built. Thus, the maximum protection against external influences was provided.
It affected placement of conditioning systems. The space for placement of external blocks of a system was limited. Therefore after carrying out additional engineering researches the decision to place external blocks on the valley gutter of a cattle roof was made. It caused need of development and installation of the individual high frame construction providing protection of the equipment against impact of the dropping-out rainfall.
"We could start DPC without loss of quality of the services provided to our customers. The data center was under construction with a stock and we are sure that at least on the next there will be enough heels of years of capacities of DPC for further development of the company".
