2018: Start of sales of the solution Panda Dome

On August 1, 2018 the Panda Security company announced the beginning of sales of the anti-virus solution of Panda Dome for home users based on a single and personalizable platform which adapts to needs of users at all stages of their life.

Panda Dome, according to the developer, provides strong, but flexible "dome" for protection of the users. The flexibility, in particular, is reached due to the volume of the provided services on which it is possible to configure Panda Dome. The solution has one free and four paid tariff plans and also several independent modules. Such approach allows users to select or configure functionality of a product according to the requirements and opportunities, the developer noted.

Tariff plans are developed taking into account security requirements of each user. Functions can be added or removed. Free VPN is also included in all tariff plans Panda Dome, beginning from free basic Panda Free Antivirus.

According to the statement of Panda Security, the plan of Essential is developed for those users who want to use safely the Internet and to protect Wi-Fi network. The plan of Advanced is focused on those users who actively use online bank and safeguard the family. Plans of Complete and Premium are aimed at data protection from all types of the attacks and also for security and confidentiality for all devices. Also, the plan of Premium offers the complete version of the module VPN, the complete confidentiality offering more than 20 virtual locations for providing thanks to a private tunnel of data and some other opportunities.

Panda Security noted that all tariff plans have licenses for 1, 3, 5, 10 and 25 devices with for a period of 1, 2 or 3 years. Also monthly subscriptions will be in the long term available. For Russia and the CIS countries the special prices are approved.

Extent of personalisation of Panda Dome can be expanded at the expense of bigger number of add-on modules. They are feature set which can be added or deleted. For example, the module Premium VPN can be added to any of tariff plans. Users who added this module VPN will be able to remain anonymous on the Internet, selecting virtual "location" to get access to a required online service through any point on the planet, but at the same time being at home, noted in the company.

According to information provided by the developer the module CleanUp is also available - it is the tool which allows to clean a system, increasing the speed of operation of the PC and notebook and also increasing the term of operation of the battery. The release of other separate modules, such as Password manager, Parental control and TotalCare is planned. The last represents the round-the-clock online service of technical support which will help users to solve IT problems at home.

Panda Dome is also capable to detect the attacks until their emergence.
