Trend Micro helps St. Petersburg Bank to reflect cyber attacks of criminals

On August 3, 2018 it became known that the Trend Micro Incorporated corporation became the partner of St. Petersburg Bank in the field of digital solutions of security and solved a serious problem of the attacks of criminals made on Bank.

As you know, the sector of banking services is of special interest for cybercriminals. According to Trend Micro, the purposeful attacks within which malefactors often manage to steal considerable amounts of money from financial institutions gain steam in recent years. The St. Petersburg bank managed to increase the level of information security and to optimize workflows thanks to implementation of Deep Discovery Email Inspector from Trend Micro. This solution for automatic detection and neutralization of the phishing letters, letters containing viruses and malicious URLs and other tools of cybercriminals using which they try to catch access to confidential data of bank.

The platform transferred fight against malefactors almost completely to the automatic mode. According to Trend Micro, Deep Discovery Email Inspector already successfully reflected 98% of the attacks including four large long attacks. Implementing solution also helped to release the employees for analysis of incidents of information security that increased data security of Bank even more.

The specifics of work with banks are that workflows in bank cannot be stopped while the equipment gets better.
