2018: Wisenet QRN-1610S
On August 8, 2018 it became known that the Hanwha Techwin company released the 16-channel WISENET QRN-1610S IP video recorder expected service up to 16 network cameras of both the WISENET brand, and ONVIF - compatible cameras of other producers.
According to the statement of the developer, QRN-1610S can work with any IP cameras as it supports not only MJPEG and H.264 video codecs, but also H.265 in which video "weighs" 50% less, than in H.264 at similar permission. The company noted that the video recorder is compatible to the cameras WISENET which use the corporate WiseStream (II) function providing the maximum economy of traffic and the place in archive at high quality of video as WiseStream subjects to a compression only static fragments of scenes.
QRN-1610S is capable to service to 16 IP cameras with permission of everyone to 3840x2160 px. (4K of Ultra HD), including record, storage and video playback from them (and also giving on PoE power supply cameras), at the same time the maximum total bitrate of record on all channels is 128 Mbps. For creation of local archive with PoE it is possible to install up to 2 hard drives in this IP video recorder in total capacitance up to 12 Tb. In case of loss of contact with the cameras QRN-1610S activates the ARB function (Auto Recovery Backup) providing "reservation" of video on the SD cards installed in cameras, and the subsequent its recovery – loading in a videoarchive, noted in Hanwha Techwin.
According to information provided by the producer the possibility of watching video on monitors with the permission up to 4K UHD provides the HDMI interface of the video recorder. At the same time it is possible to bring to the connected monitor as the written video, and a "live" video series. Also, QRN-1610S supports multiwindow display with simultaneous reproduction / broadcasting on one screen up to 16 video flows. At the same time the video recorder provides access to three remote users in a search mode and viewing, to ten – in the Unicast mode and 20 – in the Multicast mode.
High-speed data transmission is performed via the gigabit interface of the video recorder, via 16 independent RJ-45 connectors IP cameras with PoE are connected to it, and fast registration and configuring is performed using the Setup wizard. This IP video recorder allows to watch live and archive video with the PC via the web browser or mobile devices, and thanks to support of P2P technology – provides data access through a cloud service by the QR code in which it is ciphered ID devices and the access code.
16 audio inputs of QRN-1610S allow to write sounds from the serviced IP cameras (supplied with the microphone) for more information from observation zones. Support of bidirectional audio also gives the chance to establish a voice communication between the operator and installation sites of IP cameras, and for expansion of security functions of a system it is possible to attach up to 4 external sensors and 2 actuators to the video recorder. The 16-channel PoE-switch via which it is possible to supply on all 16 cameras without use of additional cables is built in the device, noted in Hanwha Techwin.
16 – the WISENET QRN-1610S video recorders of Hanwha Techwin company are available to the order at the retail price of 914 USD.[1]
