Content

Structure of the project

  • "Project management and contracts" (modules: Project management, Project contracts, Calculation of projects, Resource management of projects; integration into the OpenPlan Professional application);
  • Management of finance (modules: Ledger, Creditors, Debtors, Cash flow, Fixed assets, Accounts on projects; integration into the application Parus);
  • Oracle Financial Analyzer;
  • "Purchase managements and stocks" (modules: Inventory management, Management of supply, Quality control);
  • "Personnel management" (module Personnel management);
  • "Production management" (Shop planning, Specifications, Work in progress, Quality control, Cost management);
  • "Document management" (application: Documentum Content Server)
  • "Information and analytical service of the management" (module Daily business analysis).

The integration platform is implemented on the basis of the application server (Oracle Application Server) using means of the centralized storage of accounts (Oracle Internet Directory), service of uniform point of entry (Oracle SSO) and management of individual pages of the user (Oracle Portal).

Upgrade of 2013

Borlas consulting group together with Sukhoi Design Bureau carried out upgrade of the information system of managements (ISM) of design office within consolidation of structures of Sukhoi holding to the uniform legal person. An ERP system of experimental design bureau on the Oracle E-Business Suite platform is finished under new corporate requirements, updated it hardware platform, data migration and users is carried out, the press service of experimental design bureau reported on April 15, 2013.

Details

Change of an organization and financial structure, centralization of functions, implementation of new accounting policies required the large volume of organizational, methodological and technical works which partners carried out within 7 months, and since January 1, 2013 the experimental design bureau was included into "Sukhoi Company" as branch.

Specialists carried out the analysis in 69 directions where changes were planned. The main areas of changes — a financial structure, qualifiers of cost items and cash flow, the chart of accounts and others. Within the project consultants of Borlas undertook development of the concept of migration and technical solutions (completions), and the staff of experimental design bureau undertook the most part of their implementation in a system. The number of a joint command was 30 people.

In addition to program changes, the hardware platform is upgraded. Earlier database servers with HP-UX OS, the new equipment - under Linux OS were used.

"The "live" working version which provided daily activity of experimental design bureau was the cornerstone of a system. Therefore all completions of a system and testing were made on copies of a system that the current processes were not affected, - the project manager from Borlas Roman Presnyakov emphasized. - Taking into account updating of the hardware by project team six migrations of a system - four test and two industrial were made".
"Reorganization and the project connected with changes in a corporate system became an opportunity at the same time to solve a number of problems of improvement of a system and to make to it changes which were about to happen. Tough date of legal conversion mobilized necessary resources, and allowed, not only "not break" ISU, but also even in some aspects to improve its work", - the development director of corporate information systems of JSC Sukhoi Company Galina Lvova noted.
