"Correct" saves on fuel consumption of machines of vehicle fleet using Omnicomm

On August 27, 2018 the Omnicomm company announced project completion of system implementation of satellite monitoring of Omnicom Online in retail chain stores Correct.

According to the company, as a result the network of department stores cut down fuel consumption of 250 pieces of equipment of vehicle fleet for 10% and provided quality control of the delivered products in shops of network.

The retail chain stores needed to create an effective monitoring system of transport for expense control of fuel of machines of vehicle fleet and ensuring safety of product quality during their transportation in shops. The project was executed by the official dealer of Omnicomm in Sverdlovsk region — Omnikomm Ural company.

As it was reported, the first platform of equipment of vehicle fleet the branch of network in Yekaterinburg where in the test mode several cars were equipped became a monitoring system from Omnicomm and results of monitoring within four months were received. Further a system covered already all retail network in the different cities of Russia, including Moscow. For 2018 in vehicle fleet fuel drainings completely stopped: monitoring allowed to reduce fuel costs of the company for 10%. The solution was integrated in the management program for motor transport developed especially for Verny network that the obtained data automatically were displayed in reports. Also based on the equipment Omnicomm temperature in refrigerators is controlled now that allows to provide the necessary temperature condition for transportation of food.^[1]

Earlier in the company fuel consumption rates on the basis of data of navigation equipment of the third-party producer were reduced. Using Omnicomm we could achieve high-quality monitoring of vehicle fleet and now we obtain reliable information not only about fuel consumption, but also about all movements of transport quickly and without failures.
