In the large-scale integrated circuit of Kurgan will digitize local history materials on the scanner of ELARSKAN A2-400

On September 5, 2018 ELAR corporation announced that it equipped with the professional scanning equipment of ELARSKAN A2-400 the Library information system of the city of Kurgan (MBUK "Large-scale Integrated Circuit of Kurgan"). The scanner is installed in the Central city library of V. Mayakovsky.

"the large-scale integrated circuit of Kurgan" integrates 25 libraries which funds contain over 700,000 books. The staff of organization not only accepts readers and issues books, but also provides to citizens a broad spectrum information, educational, educational, cultural and leisure and services. Libraries focus on development of the local history direction: the staff of organizations creates full text bases of local history editions that makes low-copy books and magazines more available to the mass reader. Using the professional scanning equipment live history is going to continue development of databases ": commemorative plaques and memorable signs of Kurgan" and digitization of newspaper fund of the local periodical press.

The task, most important for library, is providing access to the editions transferred to an electronic form including to fund of rare books, taking into account observance of requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation on copyright and related rights.
