On September 17, 2018 the company Omnicomm reported that it "DSK-177" equipped vehicle fleet satellite with monitoring transport Omnicomm Online. According to the company, for September, 2018 it was succeeded to lower fuel costs, to avoid repair expenses of vehicles and to provide control of behavior of drivers during runs.
As it was reported, in "DSK-177" the problem of shortage of fuel and lubricants (fuels and lubricants) was particularly acute and also often did not doschityvatsya fuel trucks with fuel. It was the cause of outage of technology and as a result – paralyzed work of sales office of the company. To understand why there is not enough fuel and as more than 40 pieces of equipment of vehicle fleet are operated, it was decided to implement the Omnicomm Online system and also to equip all equipment with Omnicomm fuel level sensors.
In a project deliverable the company had an opportunity to visually see statistics per day or, for example, week in which information on different parameters is displayed: what distance in kilometers is passed whether drivers wind a run how many hours the equipment at what speed the machine drove worked. For September, 2018 drivers observe the high-speed mode, and in case of violations for each kilometer the penalty in the amount of five rubles is collected from them. Besides, the company can trace whether the driver in lunch time switches off the engine as each hour matters at fuel consumption. It is also possible to trace how many fuel remained and as far as its expense at high or low air temperature increases.
We managed to build all processes, work-related vehicle fleet so that the fuel theft problem was completely solved. We could sort the suppliers convicted of theft, adjust discipline among drivers. In addition, the equipment does not stand idle any more as timely we order fuel trucks, correctly we distribute fuel to each liter. Mikhail Arsenyev, CEO of "DSK-177" |
"DSK-177" thoroughly traces all operation parameters of the equipment therefore the company set for Omnicomm the task to construct a single system of control of all vehicle fleet which will show in real time crucial data on different parameters. Relying on exact information, the company can make the relevant decisions on elimination of the existing problems or avoid their emergence and also save the considerable part of the budget directed to fuel and lubricants.
