"Shell" continues Digital Signage system implementation at gas station

On September 19, 2018 the Ouch Em Es company announced (IMS) that the Shell concern uses several years in Russia digital video walls under control of network BrightSign mediaplayers for increase in traffic of clients of gas station.

The need for equipment of the Russian gas stations the modern equipment for drawing attention arose in 2016 when it became obvious that traditional – printing – advertizing by prompt rates loses efficiency and considerably concedes on effectiveness to video advertizing.

In the 2016th LCD screens were installed on about 40 key federal Shell gas Stations in prikassovy zones and behind cash desks and also in adjacent cafes and grocery stores. In the 2017th the network of digital screens was unrolled in about 50 gas stations. In 2018 the number of the equipped Digital Signage of gas stations exceeded 120.

As the instrument of loading of video content on each screen separately, group of screens and all network Digital Signage and also the centralized reproduction of media content BrightSign mediaplayers online were selected. Network BrightSign mediaplayers provide high quality of video in the Full HD format and 4K, support simultaneous reproduction of several videos, Live TV, widgets and also that is crucial for the companies with a large number of screens, monitoring, remote update of content and centralized operation by all Digital Signage system.

Works on installation of video walls under control of mediaplayers at Shell gas Station were carried out by Mud Media Russia company. Players were provided by Ouch Em Es company (IMS).

The Digital Signage system implemented at Shell gas Station informs visitors on products and services, actions and special offers of concern and so forth LCD screens under control of BrightSign mediaplayers became the important instrument of attraction of additional traffic and sales increase. Further scaling of a system is expected.
