Testing of AEON S200-RX M2 in GAU THAT CIT

On October 23, 2018 the Raidix company reported that DWH of AEON received positive assessment according to the results of testing in Management of infrastructure services of "The center of information technologies" of Tula region.

Technical specialists of the center confirmed the stated performance of DWH and noted ample opportunities of management of the platform. These qualities do the solution optimal for use in SMB the sector.

Separate advantage of DWH is its domestic origin and development of OS in the Russian company "Raidix". Testing also confirmed the high level of first technical support Netberg which was conducted in Russian.

Specialists of the center made the recommendations about placement of DWH and arrangement of elements of control on a control panel. Also the possibility of adding of ports, expansions of RAM and easy access to components of DWH was mentioned.

The solution for data storage from Netberg company of AEON S200-RX M2 will be presented on November 1, 2018 in Moscow.

The Russian solution with DWH sphere - Aeon S200-RX M2

On September 21, 2018 RAIDIX reported that they together with Netberg will present on November 1, 2018 the Russian solution in the field of data storage - DWH of AEON S200-RX M2 under control of RAIDIX software.

This storage system from Netberg under control of software of RAIDIX will find application as server, network or cluster storage and also at transaction and stream loading at speeds up to 100 GB and above.

At rather small sizes (body 2U) it was succeeded to realize architecture in which principal components on a case of failure or need of replacement are dubbed. Engineers Netberg provided existence of trib-in connections and enough SAS ports: on each controller about 4 SAS3 ports which can be used both for connection of additional disks, and for access are provided.

The hardware of DWH consists of two controllers and the general disk space with a possibility of expansion at the expense of disk shelves of Netberg AEON of the RX series. Each of controllers of DWH includes 2 processor Intel Xeon and is complemented with 32 GB of RAM with a possibility of expansion to 1 TB.

DWH works under control of software of RAIDIX which is entered in the Unified register of the Russian programs for electronic computers and databases. RAIDIX provides both file, and block data access and allows to trace performance of separate disks with function of anticipatory reconstruction of arrays. The self-training module of recognition QoSmic allows to set to separate applications performance level for work with a storage system.
