In Nizhny Novgorod will develop telecommunication infrastructure

On September 20, 2018 the press service of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, reported that the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin and the president of ER-Telecom Holding company Andrey Kuzyaev signed the agreement on cooperation in development of telecommunication infrastructure of the region.

As it was reported, in Nizhny Novgorod in August, 2018 the company unrolled network of base stations of the LoRaWAN standard for provision of services of Internet of Things.

The agreement means independent investment projects of the company to which we will give administrative support. Taking into account experience of implementation of similar projects in other cities we calculate, as here we will see serious results. Gleb Nikitin, head of the Nizhny Novgorod Region

The agreement signed between ER-Telecom and the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region — an important step on the way of full-scale project implementation, aimed at the development of digital economy in the region. We are sure that such strategic partnership will open new opportunities and will promote rapid implementation of the innovative technologies and services in the directions, major for the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Besides, it was reported that the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region signed the agreement on cooperation with PJSC Sberbank. The document assumes cooperation on use in a state administration and the industry of end-to-end technologies and digital platforms. According to the press service, within the agreement development of a system of search, support and development of startups at early stages and also creation of prototypes of digital products and services for the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and promotion of the innovation cluster ecosystem among students and IT entrepreneurs is planned.^[1]
