In 52 cities

On September 11, 2018 announced JSC ER-Telecom Holding start of network of Industrial Internet of Things (Industrial Internet of Things, IIoT) in 52 cities, including in Vladivostok, Omsk, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Kaliningrad, etc.

The IIoT network of JSC ER-Telecom of Holding represents a wireless radio network for digital transformation of production, business objects and city infrastructure based on technology of communication LoRaWAN. It differs in available cost for mass application due to independent operation of sensors up to 10 years.

ER-Telecom manages IIoT network through the telecommunication platform of Actility company. The operator creates the directory of IIoT-solutions together with several software developers: from touch sensors to a business intelligence, machine learning and a blockchain. Their application will help clients to increase efficiency of business processes, to pass from visual or calendar hardware maintenance to service on a status, to transfer employees to intellectual works from unqualified transactions, having transferred them to the machine.

IIoT-solutions of ER-Telecom will keep development of digital economy at the expense of essentially other tools for industrial productions, the enterprises of power and housing and public utilities, business, city services and "The smart city". For example, it is remote monitoring and energy management, labor safety, predictive service, monitoring of transport and other IIoT-services.

In the cities the network of base stations of IIoT is developed in all areas. It is constructed completely for the investment account of JSC ER-Telecom of Holding.

For digital transformation of the enterprises with a distributed infrastructure for regions of Russia (oil fields, departments of banks, the logistic centers, shops of retail, etc.). The holding by the end of 2018 completes the construction of network of industrial Internet of Things in more than 60 cities with the population over 300 thousand people, using LoRaWAN technology.

In 25 cities

ER-Telecom developed networks of Internet of Things in 25 cities, TelecomDaily reports in May, 2018. As the president of the company Andrey Kuzyaev at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum specified, this year the provider is going to build networks based on LoRaWAN technology in 62 cities. The works should be completed to the middle of summer.

The company accelerated project implementation: at the beginning of May the marketing director and monetizations of innovations of Mazurik holding Victor reported that May on the middle of July is backscheduled to develop LoRaWAN-networks in 50 cities, and by the end of the year to cover more than 60 cities. In Perm, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl and the center of Moscow the provider will provide indoor and deep-indoor a covering. The network in Yaroslavl is already ready.

The company together with several software developers develops the directory of IoT-solutions: from touch sensors to a business intelligence, machine learning and a blockchain. In the long term the company is going to render services based on Internet of Things in all cities of the presence.

ER-Telecom announced intention to start federal network of Internet of Things in 60 cities with the population more than 300 thousand people in 2017. The holding signed the agreement with the French company Actility on deployment of wireless networks of LoRaWAN for provision of services based on Internet of Things in the territory of Russia. According to own data, the company is present at 566 localities of the country, occupying 11% in the market of broadband Internet access and 12% of the market of a pay TV.

The solution architecture of operator level, does not use data transmission on the public Internet, critical zones (sensors) are reserved by a covering 2-3 base stations. Use of the platform of applications existing at the Customer or use of the platform of ER-Telecom is available.
