2020: Implementation of own scanning system

On May 7, 2020, AlfaStrakhovanie announced the introduction of its own scanning system for high-speed electronic translation of paper documents. The solution was developed by Smart Engines.

AlfaStrakhovanie receives more than 20,000 insurance contracts, financial documents and incoming correspondence every day. In the process of processing, scan images of the specified quality are created for paper documents, data is checked and transferred to the company's electronic document management system (EDMS). The scanning system is able to recognize barcodes, records the scan time and the employee who performed the scan, the place of storage of the original document and other target attributes of the process. In addition to paper documents, the system for subsequent storage in the EDMS implemented the import of electronic documents in PDF, XLSX, DOC formats.

AlfaStrakhovanie specialists work with a huge array of documents. The process of scanning sets of documents, despite the apparent simplicity of the task, has many methodological and technical nuances that must be solved at the scanning system level. For fast and error-free processing of securities, the company needs a high-quality high-tech solution. Insurance becomes easier and faster: AlfaStrakhovanie customers do not need to re-enter their passport, driver's license, SNILS and diagnostic card every time they buy eOSAGO and auto insurance. It is enough to take a picture of the documents, and the Smart IDReader solution will automatically enter your data in the corresponding fields on the alfastrah.ru website at checkout.

In the fall of 2018, AlfaStrakhovanie began full-fledged operation of Smart Engines in the web system for processing documents when applying for eOSAGO insurance policies and auto insurance, as well as in the Alfa Agent agency mobile application, designed for document management of the company with agents.

Very often, customers make mistakes by manually entering document data. The implementation of Smart IDReader will improve the quality of data entry. The extracted data is used to pre-fill the forms on the site, after checking them, the insured sends his application immediately for the execution of the policy.
