Rentmee will recognize documents of clients in photos using Smart Engines

On October 10, 2018 the company Smart Engines reported that service car-sharing RENTMEE implemented a sensing technology Smart IDReader for document handling at registration of clients of century mobile application. According to the company, for October, 2018 development allows less than in a second to take text data of passports and car driver licenses in the photos of documents loaded by users. Technical solution represents the autonomous service of recognition deployed on servers RENTMEE.

The feature of RENTMEE service consists in an opportunity to move on the leased car within the admissible territory Moscow, Leningrad and the neighboring areas and also to complete lease in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

To rent the car it is not necessary to visit office, it is enough to install mobile application of RENTMEE on the phone and to undergo registration procedure. Users are offered to take pictures of the passport and the car driver license. For acceleration of data entry in RENTMEE service using Smart IDReader passports and car driver licenses of the Russian Federation and also documents with a machine-readable zone (MRZ) executed according to the ISO/ICAO standards are recognized.
