Dürr acts as the general contractor of construction of painting workshop in Chongqing

On October 10, 2018 the company Dürr announced what Chinese the car maker Sokon Industry Group for release of a batch electric vehicles will use painting robot EcoRP E043i, capable to color electric SUVs of the different sizes without replacement of rails. Dürr is responsible for turnkey delivery of painting workshop of a full stroke, including system of air purification Ecopure with recuperation of heat.

The production technology in Chongqing became innovative. The Chinese automobile works is equipped with the painting robot of the 3rd generation Dürr of the EcoRP E043i model. He has seven rotating axes and is much more mobile in comparison with painting robots with six axes: the additional swivel joint broadens the work area of the robot so when coloring an internal surface of a body the manipulator is capable to color the most hard-to-reach spots. Earlier painting robots moved mainly on horizontal rails. Due to application of the 7-axial kinematic scheme the EcoRP E043i model became so mobile that does not need them. It considerably reduces capital costs, costs on maintenance and provides complete monitoring of spray chambers, noted in Dürr

For October, 2018 in total for putting primer, a high layer of paint and lines of a transparent layer at internal and external coloring at the Sokon enterprises 60 Ecopaint robots of the 3rd generation are used. In addition to 36 painting EcoRP E043i robots, 16 devices of opening of doors of SCARA and six-axial models of robots intended for opening of cowls are sent to China. In addition Dürr delivers robots and technology of putting sealant for stations of putting sealant. Materials for sealing of seams and isolation are applied on the body with 20 robots of the EcoRSi series.

The Dürr company creates painting workshop for turnkey Sokon and as the general contractor is responsible for construction of the process building and three multilevel warehouses. Multilevel warehouses are projected in such a way that need to build land storage disappears. For cleaning of flows of the hot exhaust air developed during different processes of drying of paint the system of recuperative thermal cleaning Ecopure TAR is used. During this process the exhaust air is cleaned and heat for heating of the drying chamber is at the same time developed.
