2020: Set Mark Centrum Service Creation

On May 7, 2020, CSI announced that retailers had the opportunity to automate the accounting of labeled goods centrally throughout the retail network. This opportunity is especially relevant for the shoe trade, the blast accounting of which will become mandatory for everyone from July 1.

On October 11, 2018, CSI announced the development of a Set Mark labeled goods accounting service.

According to the developer, the Set Mark solution is installed in every store where excise alcohol is sold. The Set Mark: Alco module receives a list of current excise stamps from the inventory system and checks whether this item is listed in the store during sale or return at the cash register. If the cashier breaks through a bottle with an excise stamp that is not in the balance, the service will block the sale. Also, he will not allow the return of goods that were not sold from this point, and will prevent double sales of marked alcohol.

Set Mark will record the violation time and send an error report to the customer account system. Having received the report, the employee responsible for the sale of alcohol will be able to quickly understand what caused the violation - the action of the cashier or an error in accepting the goods. If the store has a Set Prisma cash transaction control system or a third-party video surveillance system, security officers will be able to watch the specified fragment of the video without viewing all the camera footage, CSI noted.

According to CSI, as of October 2018, the Set Mark: Alco module operates in more than 100 stores of several retail chains. He controls the turnover of alcohol under excise stamps in accordance with the requirements of EGAIS 3.0.
