2018: Release of Google Pixel Slate

On October 10, 2018 the Google company provided the tablet Pixel Slate PC. The tablet, according to the company, is focused for use in the tablet and desktop modes. The device received two cameras, the fingerprint sensor, the built-in antivirus, automatic update and a cover with the keyboard and the stylus.

The tablet Google Pixel Slate PC works under management operating system Chrome OS. Google Slate is equipped with the 12.3-inch display on a matrix of LTPS with the resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels and with a brightness up to 400 nit, processors Intel of all range – from initial Celeron to Intel Core m3, i5 or i7, RAM of 4 GB, 8 GB or 16 GB, and SSD the drive with a capacity from 32 GB to 256 GB.

The tablet is executed in the aluminum body 7 mm thick and the Device weighing 721 g is equipped with the built-in battery with a capacity of 48 Vtch with support of high-speed charging. At connection of the keyboard it is possible to use the classical version of Chrome OS. Upon transition to the tablet mode it is possible to work in economy mode of touch input. Keyboards with round keys without touchpad or with illumination, the touchpad and the touchpad will be optionally available to Pixel Slate, noted in Google.

The tablet received cameras 8 MT on a lobby and the back supporting record of video with quality 1080p at a speed of 30 frames per second. The tablet supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac (MIMO, 2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, is equipped with the fingerprint scanner, two ports USB-C, stereoloudspeakers, two microphones and a video output on displays with the resolution up to 4K.

According to the producer, Pixel Slate from a box supports a set of applications, including Netflix, Sketchbook, Google Drive, Play Movies, YouTube, Messenger, Calendar and all range of other Google services, etc.

According to Google, the prices of the Pixel Slate tablet begin from $599, the cover for it is estimated at $199, the stylus in $99.^[1]
