Henderson started the system of development of collections based on Aptos PLM

On October 16, 2018 the CORUS Consulting company announced end jointly by Aptos company of the project on automation of a cycle of creation of products on the Aptos PLM platform in Henderson, the Russian network of men's wear.

For October, 2018 the retail network of the company contains about 165 salons in 62 cities of Russia, and the pool of suppliers consists from more than 60 companies of the different countries of the world.

Earlier management of a cycle of creation of products – from development of collections and purchase of materials before production and delivery to shops – was performed using the MS Excel. Such approach had a number of shortcomings: separation and losses of information, difficulties in tracking of history and authorship of changes, lack of convenient tools for joint work in the company and with suppliers.

Realizing reserves in increase in efficiency of process, top management of Henderson made the decision on implementation of IT solution for management of creation of the products Aptos. Project implementation and business consultation were entrusted a command of vendor in cooperation with specialists of Corus Consulting.

The created system became the uniform center for work with the range for designers, category and import managers, technologists – only more than 30 specialists of Henderson. Combining functions for development of models, selection of materials and optimal suppliers, a system helps to manage terms at all stages of a production cycle, in passing creating data on actual cost of products. The ability to manage the range by thematic capsules became one of functions of the solution for Henderson. Thanks to what in planning processes, placements of production orders and logistics the capsule functions as a unit that, eventually, provides one-time receipt of all goods of the capsule in shops.

For work with production sites in Europe, Russia, America and Southeast Asia the B2B-portal allowing the staff of Henderson to structure communication with suppliers and also to control course of execution and an adherence to deadlines is provided in Aptos PLM. Besides, Pantone palettes are integrated into Aptos PLM that creates uniform perception of color shades among designers, suppliers of materials and production partners, providing compliance of finished products to the initial ideas of designers.

As noted in Henderson, automation assortment and commodity financial planning will become the next stage of the project.
