The first engineer and G-Team: System of energy efficient reduction of steam

The system of energy efficient reduction of steam is intended for the productions using steam in technology processes and for needs of heating. It allows to minimize heat waste during process of reduction of steam due to conversion of thermal energy to electric. According to developers for October, 2018, reduction of the general losses of heat when installing a system reaches 6%, and the additional electric power can be used for needs of the enterprise.

The solution will be demanded, first of all, at the enterprises of the food industry in regions with the high cost of the electric power.

Announcement of a system

"The first engineer" presented on December 7, 2018 technical solution of "The system of energy efficient use of steam" in Chelyabinsk. The system developed and implemented in partnership with G-Team company is intended for obtaining additional electric power due to use of unproductively lost steam power — one of the main heat carriers of food production.

According to developers, the system of energy efficient reduction of steam allows to minimize heat waste due to conversion of thermal energy to electric and to develop up to 1 MW of additional power. The solution represents combinations of reducing, reduktsionno-cooling installations, block turbine units with generation of different electric power, turbodrives for the different dynamic equipment, the heat-exchanging and pumping equipment.

For each consumer system configuration is defined individually, proceeding from technical requirements and tasks of the enterprise. Thus, it is possible to reach the maximum performance indicators in the conditions of each production, claim in "The first engineer".

Development of the system of energy efficient reduction of steam

On October 24, 2018 "The first engineer" reported that he together with the Czech producer of G-Team steam turbines developed the system of energy efficient reduction of steam which will allow the enterprises of the food industry to receive up to 1 MW of additional power.

Under the terms of the partnership agreement, G-Team will act as the producer of the capital steam-turbine equipment, and "The first engineer" will be responsible for development of technical solutions, design and implementation. To provide the maximum energy efficiency, system configuration will be individually defined for each enterprise, proceeding from specifications.

The technology which we make available to the Russian productions is demanded and successfully works in Europe where electricity rates and fuel force producers to be extremely thrifty. At us historically the attitude towards energy efficiency is simpler, but the question of additional electric power is very relevant, especially if it is about an opportunity to receive this electric power actually free of charge – without costs for its purchase or fuel for independent development.
