Tinkoff Bank started collecting of biometric data on all Russia

On October 31, 2018 Tinkoff Bank reported that within Single biometric system "Key Rostelecom" began to bring together data clients in all regions Russia where bank representatives work.

Operation of a system started on July 1, 2018, Tinkoff Bank carried out starting registration of biometric data of the client on the same day. Since October 30, 2018 it is possible to be registered in the Key Rostelecom system using Tinkoff in all regions of Russia where there are bank representatives. For this purpose it is necessary to address to bank with the request then the representative of Tinkoff will arrive with the necessary equipment to any place comfortable to the client and time. The digital platform is placed in the cloud protected infrastructure of Rostelecom. Data of the user are transferred to a Single biometric system on the communication channels protected using domestic cryptoalgorithms.

Tinkoff Bank works without departments more than 10 years — for this purpose we constructed own infrastructure of our representatives who deliver our products through the whole country. Remote biometric identification continues and develops the concept according to which clients can receive any financial service without visit of bank. We are sure that system implementation Key of Rostelecom contributes to the development of all financial sector due to availability of financial products, improvement of bank services and improvement of competition.
