"The standard of LenSpecSMU" automated work with contractors in the environment of Pilot-ICE Enterprise

The Standard of LenSpecSMU company implemented a management system for the project organization and processes of information modeling of Pilot-ICE Enterprise and connected to it more than fifteen contractors. On November 2, 2018 the "ASCON Northwest Project Management" company which performed an implementation project reported about it.

Numerous construction contractors and the project organizations are involved in business processes Standard of LenSpecSMU. Before Pilot-ICE Enterprise implementation the operating procedure over the project was such: design engineers Standard of LenSpecSMU collected documentation from the contract project organizations, reported each sheet of a set to the approving experts, collected notes and sent them back to designers. The approved documentation kit was replicated in five paper copies and transferred to the construction organization to an object. Sometimes approving and designers began to communicate directly, passing the design engineer. As a result to collect a complete set, to follow relevance of documentation getting to it it was extremely difficult.

According to the results of implementation the template of structure of the project on which in Pilot-ICE each new project was created was created, connection of designers of contract organization directly to the Standard of LenSpecSMU database is organized. Designers install at themselves the client application of a system, are far off connected to the Standard of LenSpecSMU server, spread the project documentation and send it for approval to experts of the company. In case of notes contractors work them and update the document revision. After a statement the expert of LenSpecSMU presses the Sign button — the electronic signature, date and the facsimile approving are put automatically.

It became obvious that thanks to a system interaction becomes simpler, the speed of approval of documentation significantly increases, the number of excess actions is reduced.
