Medtronic will help to equip Priaralya hospitals with new angiographs

On November 13, 2018 there was information that two angiographs of the last generation will appear in hospitals Priaralya. According to doctors, with their help availability of the emergency X-ray surgery will increase and diagnosing of diseases of a cardiovascular system will improve.

Delivery of the hi-tech medical equipment will be executed — for the first time in Kazakhstan — within the public-private partnership (PPP). The relevant agreement was already signed between the investor — the American company Medtronic — and Akimat of the Kyzylorda region.

Modern angiographs will succeed old in regional hospital of Kyzylorda and district hospital in Kazalinsk. The high-speed system of navigation which equips devices will allow to see the smallest vessels of heart, brain and internals. For patients with zhizneugrozhayushchy diseases are a chance of healing.

For that time when the only angiograph failed, and it happened also four-three months from 12 months in a year, our patients were left, actually, without this type of medical care. And the fact that two angiographs in one step come to the Kyzylorda region is, first of all, a quality and availability of medical care — Akmaral Alnazarova, the chief of the department of health care of the Kyzylorda region emphasized.

As of November, 2018 in the area the only angiographic system installed in 2009 based on the regional medical center which already executed more than 5 thousand researches and transactions functions. Statistically, annually about 5 thousand kyzylordinets, at the same time a half of them — with stenting need coronary angiography. This requirement is satisfied only for 30% so far. Project implementation, as expected, will allow to change a situation cardinally.

In addition to installation of the angiographic systems, for the first time at the level of district hospital within PPP the endovascular surgery will be implemented that, according to Akmaral Alnazarova, will allow to make hi-tech medical services available to the population.^[1]

The project will give the advanced equipment in the operating room. And this equipment will allow to service the additional number of patients in hospital. We do this project based on two hospitals. It is regional hospital of Kyzylorda and district hospital in Kazalinsk — Gulzhakhan Shamshatova, the representative of Medtronic company in Kazakhstan added in return.

According to Gulzhakhan Shamshatova, all on model of public-private partnership in Priaralye it is going to implement 30 projects in the field of health care for the total amount about 15 billion tenges (a little more than 2.7 billion rubles). Acquisition of angiographs is only one of projects.^[2]

Agreements — are signed, necessary specialists — are trained. In the spring of 2019 doctors with their help will perform the first operations — the representative of Medtronic in Kazakhstan concluded.
